Creating Leaders of Tomorrow ------- Today !!!

21st Aug '08 marked the grand launch of Indus International School, Pune.

The event (held at the school campus at Bhukum, Mulshi) had over 200 invitees : parents, guests and well-wishers from various parts of the globe.

Mrs. Surja P Mantri, mother of Mr. Sushil Mantri (Chairman : Mantri Developers Pvt Ltd) lit the lamp and was the Chief Guest.

"Realization of a Dream" was the theme of the address by Lt. Gen. Arjun Ray - CEO, Indus Trust. He also outlined Indus' future initiatives, geared to create Leaders of Tomorrow.

The school's Vision, Mission and Core Values of love, empathy, discipline and respect were shared with the dignitaries.

Pradip K Das, Principal was entrusted with the responsibility of leading the school, with the symbolic handing over of the school colours. The Principal then spoke with passion and assured the delegates present of his committment to the education of their children.

He then stated that IIS-Pune will do its best to mould their wards into "21st Century thinkers, who think Globally and act Locally"
