Middle school Programme (MSP)

The Middle School Program at Indus ensures that all students are ready to face the rigors of Higher Secondary education of the IB Diploma Program. It culminates in the IGCSE Certification at the end of Grade 10.

The curriculum of the Middle School Programme is delivered through themes/concepts to enhance student learning. Critical Thinking is deeply embedded in the programme, thereby allowing students to make deeper connections with the curriculum content, as well as lay the foundations for our students to get the most out of the Theory of Knowledge (ToK) in the Diploma Programme.

To ensure the all-round development of all students, academic and non academic subjects are given equal importance.

The subjects offered are:

• Language A – English
• Second Language – Hindi/ESL/Spanish/ French/German
• Mathematics
• Sciences – General Science (Grade 6); Biology, Chemistry and Physics (Grade 7 & 8)
• Humanities – History and Geography
• Visual Art
• Performing Arts – Dance / Music
• Physical Education
• ICT

Academic Excellence in the Middle School Programme is enhanced by students' involvement in project based studies, experiential programs and E - learning. To enable such learning, all students are provided with laptops. Every student’s progress is monitored closely and assessed periodically by the teachers, and all students are assisted in reaching their potential.
