An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Col. Pendse has to his credit over 27 years of distinguished service as an Infantry officer in the Indian Army and has served in all parts of the country. Widely experienced in the command, training and administration of large bodies of troops in diverse and challenging conditions, he also brings to Indus a rich international experience gained dealing in HR and administrative issues related to UN troops from over 30 countries in war torn Somalia, as well as through close interaction on comprehensive security related issues with military and civil officials from the entire Asia Pacific region over a 12 week exchange programme in Hawaii, USA.

In his last assignment in the Army, Col. Pendse was responsible for planning and overseeing execution of over 115 Operation Sadbhavana (Goodwill) projects touching all facets of infrastructure, education, vocational training and health & hygiene of the people of South Kashmir .

In recognition of his gallant and fearless action against the insurgents in Manipur, Col. Pendse has been awarded the Sena Medal by the President of India.

Karl Mascarenhas, an Arts graduate with a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing, has more than 20 years of diverse experience with some of India ’s premier organizations like the Oberoi Group of Hotels, Global Tele-Systems Ltd. and Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training. As the Director Marketing at Indus International School , Pune, he is in charge for the Indian and Overseas promotion of the school and the admission of Indian and international students, in line with the high standards set at Indus Pune.

Anushya, a science graduate from the University of Pune , has over five years of experience with leading organizations in the service industry. She is one of the first employees of Indus Pune and has contributed significantly to the establishment of the Project Office. With her prior experience of promoting IB schools overseas & recruiting International Students to various IB Schools in India , at Indus Pune, Anushya will assist Director Marketing in the promotion of the school and she will be the communicating interface with prospective parents while also handling the admission process.

Girija, a post graduate in Counselling Psychology and a PG Diploma holder in School Psychology, has experience of over six years as a Guidance Counsellor and Admissions Officer at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School , Mumbai and at the CBSE school at the Reliance Industries Limited Township , Jamnagar . Girija has keen interest in education management and with her prior experience of setting systems and processes at a start-up stage, she is working towards the efficient functioning of the school.

Vinayak, a Arts graduate has done his Masters in Personnel Management and Diploma in Labour Laws & Labour Welfare. He has over ten years of experience in setting-up administrative systems and has worked at Mahindra United World College of India, Pune and Ram Ratna Vidya Mandir, Mumbai in various administrative positions. Equipped with experience of working in established institutions, at Indus Pune, Vinayak is involved in setting-up the administrative systems and processes as we gear up for the commencement of the school’s first academic session in August 2008.

Anu Sharma is an Arts Graduate with a specialization in English Honours from the University of Delhi. She also has a Professional certificate in Fashion Designing, a Diploma in Airlines, Travel and Tourism Management and has completed the IATA/UFTAA foundation and EBT course, Montreal. Her experience spans over five years and have also had the opportunity of working as the Secretary to the Senior Level Management in two International schools and a reputed Non – Governmental Organization in Pune. She believes that Knowledge is a never ending process and one should always upgrade oneself according to the changing times.

Mr. Pandit has over 23 years of experience in Finance, Direct & Indirect taxes and handling of accounts related to construction activities and manufacturing units. He is also experienced in imparting training in commerce subjects to students at the graduate and post-graduate levels. At Indus Pune Mr. Pandit is responsible for Finance, Accounting and Taxation.

Sneha has 5 years experience in finance & handling accounts, related to Construction activities. She is also experience in Primary Teaching. At Indus International School she is responsible for looking after the day to day accounts activities.
