Middle School Teachers

Ingur, a post graduate in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, has been teaching Geography at IB schools for the last five years. She has attended various workshops and conferences at international level. She has served as the MYP Coordinator in her last school and was instrumental in getting the school authorized for the IBO's Middle Years Programme. Ingur also has the experience of teaching at IB Diploma Programme level as well as the IGCSE. She is also an assistant examiner for the IBO. At Indus Pune, Ingur is involved in curriculum development and authorization process for the Middle Years Programme.  

Priji Sundaran has a Masters degree in Electronic Science from the University of Pune . She has taught Electronic Science to undergraduate students at Modern College, Shivajinagar. Then she was working as an Electronics Engineer in Oman , however, her love for teaching compelled her to take up teaching as a full time profession. She has been teaching Physics and Theory of Knowledge to the IB diploma students, Physics to IGCSE students for the last two years. She has also attended IBDP training workshop for Physics in Hong Kong .

Rashmi received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Arts (English major) from the University of Pune followed by a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in education from the same university. She has been in the field of education since 2000. As an English teacher, preparing students for various debate competitions, organizing debates, working as the editor for school newsletter and magazines, has been an enriching experience. She got an opportunity to attend the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program in USA in 2007 which provided her exposure to the American education system.

Harish is a Post graduate in Economics with a degree in Education and has been in teaching for the past five years. He has been teaching grades 9th to 12th for various curriculums like ICSE, ISC and IGCSE. Participation in Professional Development workshops for example Multiple Intelligences, Subject specific, Team building etc. has been a regular feature during these years. He has been a senior school Coordinator, thus had the opportunity in handling various Academic and Administrative responsibilities. Prior to Teaching profession, he has worked in the corporate sector for more than 10 years, with quite a few reputed companies.

Pooja enjoyed learning science ever since childhood and curiosity has been her basic instinct as a child. She pursued her graduation in Zoology from Fergusson College Pune. Having completed post graduation in Molecular Biology from Pune University she began her teaching career with Fergusson College , Pune. A sincere, hardworking and simple person, she strongly believes in herself. She is compassionate and level headed and loves to be with children.
She believes that "Every Child is different and hence Every Child deserves the Best! Let us as educators, nurture these differences and impart meaning to life in the true sense!

Mrs. Hetal Chandaria's teaching mantra is "to encourage curiosity and creativity", She has 5 1/2 years of teaching experience, out of which 3 years being international experience at - Imani School (British Curriculum) in Kenya, having students with mutli-cultural and multi-ethnic background. She was rated as “the most inspiring teacher" by the students. She taught Chemistry, Biology & Maths at A & O Levels.

Hetal holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Creative teaching, M.S-Master of Science in Psychotherapy and Career Counseling & Bachelor of Science with Chemistry as major. (B.Sc. -Chemistry). She has undergone several workshops on self development. She is passionate about facilitation and loves to unlock the hidden potential in the students by making learning fun.

Sandhya, is Science graduate from Sagar University, M.P, having graduated in Arts from Pune University and she has also done her B.Ed. from Bhopal University, M.P.

She has immense liking for Hindi as a subject and so she took it as a challenge to teach Hindi. She has been teaching Hindi at S.S.C. & C.B.S.E schools for the last 15 years. Being a life member of Maharashtra Rastra Bhasha Sabha, Pune, she has been coaching and conducting classes on various levels for the past 12 years. She has also conducted Hindi Paper setting workshops on a National level. She enjoys singing and painting. Being hardworking, committed and sincere, she would like to build the gap of different International Cultures by exposing the students to our National language Hindi!

After thirteen years as a professional music performer and teacher, Pierluca switched to Spanish and Italian teaching, translation and interpretation after moving permanently to India two and half years back.

Since then his experiences have been very diverse in all three fields, especially in the teaching one, in which he has now focused and developed the most. He finds it more enjoyable and rewarding, although no less challenging, demanding and committing.

Baccalaureate of Letters and Languages; Degree in Sociology; Degree in English Language, Literature, Civilization and Linguistics.

Marie has spent 2 years as an au pair in Australia and the USA, started teaching French as a Second Language there. She has been teaching English and French to French learners since 2003 in various schools. She moved to Pune in August 2007 with her family. Marie has been teaching French and Cultural training in various Indian companies. She believes in teaching language as a whole from its most inner structure to its most recent changes. She loves to teach through workshops & teamwork.
