Pramila Sen, our PYP Coordinator comes with 25 years of experience in elementary teaching ,the latter 5 years of which has been with the IB.
She has a Bachelor's degree in Education with Honours and a Masters in Child Education. Besides possessing a passion for teaching /learning, she is deeply dedicated to the beliefs and values that drive the IB Primary Years Programme. Her experience lies in guiding a culturally mixed group of children with different abilities, setting high but realistic goals and working with clear objectives towards achieving them. She believes in having a strong bond with students, parents and colleagues to inspire a shared commitment to quality education. Also as an IB Workshop Leader, she partakes in IBPYP Authorization visits and training for interested and candidate IB schools. |

Farida, an Arts graduate from The University of Pune, has over seven years of teaching and leadership experience, which includes two years as Head of Early Years at Symbiosis International School . By inclination, she likes to instill in her children, a sense of wonder through stimulating activities and is currently developing the curriculum of the PYP, focusing on Early Years. She is passionate about working with and facilitating young children and seeing them grow socially, emotionally and intellectually. |

| Insiya, a graduate in Zoology and a Bachelor of Education is also an amateur artist.
She has two years of experience - teaching trans-disciplinary subjects at the Primary level and Art. Insiya is currently working on developing the PYP curriculum. She is also closely associated with the planning and articulation of guidelines for inclusive education at Indus International School , Pune. Poornima hold a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Post Graduate Diploma in Nursery Primary Teacher Training. She has been working as a pre-nursery teacher, ICT secondary teacher as well as trainer and a special educator.
She has also undergone training programmes in Strategies for Accelerated learning in mainstream classrooms, Spelling Success without Stress, Training and Certification in Dyslexia, Thinking and Learning Styles, DTP, Photo Editing. It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult undertaking which more than anything else will determine its successful outcome." As a teacher, she would like to motivate students in ascertaining their inner strengths and abilities and discovering what truly inspires them. Mrs. Abhilasha Jain, holds a Masters in Sociology and is a Gold Medalist in Bachelor’s of Education from Rajasthan University . She took up teaching as a career due to her immense love and affection for the little ones. She finds dealing with Primary Year students extremely interesting since they are very innocent, honest and loving. With around twelve years of experience in CBSE schools she joined the IB world in April 2006 as a Homeroom teacher of grade 2 in MIT’s Vishwashanti Gurukul. She has attended Introductory 1, Assessment and Inquiry workshops conducted by IB as a part of her professional development. It is then she realized that IB is a great way of sharing ideas and strength with a primary aim of improving own knowledge while being a friend and guide to the students. |

She has relocated from Indus International School, Bangalore where she was a house parent and teaching Mathematics in the MYP. She has a wide experience of teaching Science and Mathematics in different schools in the country. She is a keen sports person and loves to play tennis, badminton and cricket. She believes that the best way to make children good is to make them happy and the object of teaching a child is to enable him to get along without his teacher. |

Suguna Nair, a science post graduate has also done a certificate course in Mass Communication. She is also a Bharatnatyam graduate. She has taught environment science in a higher secondary school for a year and volunteered for a city based NGO which deals with educating slum children. Suguna is convinced that "No matter which sector of the society they belong to, all kids has the right to knowledge, fun and loads of opportunities to fulfill their dreams."
