Pradip Kumar Das, the Principal of Indus International School, Pune, comes with a wealth of experience in Higher and Secondary Education. He was chosen for the Langham Scholarship to pursue his research in History at Bristol University, UK. He delivered special lectures in the Netherlands as well as in Trinity College, Bristol. He delivered a series of lectures on comparative religions, during his time in the UK.
His experience includes being the Principal of the 100-year old Mount Hermon School and Mount Hermon Teacher Training College, Darjeeling. After his stint in Darjeeling, he served as the Principal of Baldwin Boys High School and Baldwin Polytechnic College, Bangalore. This was followed by a very rich and rewarding experience as Vice-Principal and Acting Principal of the 107- year old Kodaikanal International School (KIS), the first International Baccalaureate (IB) School in India, and the second in Asia. After his term in KIS, he was invited to set up and head Greenwood High School, Bangalore. His continuing desire to be a life-long learner and his genuine interest in the welfare of students make him an effective educator.
