Jayashree, a science graduate and a post-graduate in Library & Information Science, has an added qualification on Website Development & Designing and has undergone various training programmes conducted by CISSR, NIC, and RSIC etc. She has over nine years of experience in reputed International Organizations like the British Council Library, IIIT and other academic and research based institutions. Jayashree has conducted various workshops and seminars for specialists and students. She has also written articles on Digital Library and its allied fields. She had been a core team member in development of a Digital Library which was officially launched by the former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. At Indus International School, Pune, Jayashree is responsible for planning and continual development of the Learning Resource Centre and looks forward in creating life long learners. |

Anuradha, a Commerce graduate and a postgraduate in Library & Information Science, has undergone on-course training in Library Management, Collection Development, maintenance and display forms of resource collection with international standards and has hands-on experience of internationally accepted Classification Systems and Cataloguing Rules. She has worked with the British Council Library in a fully automated environment, where she handled the circulation and reference desks of the Council Library satisfying an approximate of 600 users daily. At Indus International School , Pune, Anuradha is responsible for identifying and listing of resources, duplicate checking, cataloguing and processing of print and digital collection. She also supports identification of infrastructural requirements useful in setting up the Learning Resource Center . |

Christopher, a Science graduate from University of Pune has more than 10 years of experience in setting-up and managing Science laboratories of IB schools and colleges. He has worked for Mahindra United World College of India, Pune as Science Laboratory Manager. He holds the credit of setting-up their Science Laboratory in a record time of two months. He is experienced at performing Drinking Water Analysis, which he was responsible for, during his service with Mahindra UWCI. Short term training in the year 1998 on G M Counter at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Mumbai adds to his experience. At Indus Pune he is working towards setting up Science Laboratories as per IBO norms and standards. Lego Science and Sensor based Vernier Technology will be used by Christopher here at Indus International School Pune .

A graceful dancer & talented choreographer Dr.Tonusree Dutta began her pursuit of dance at a very tender age of four. After an initial stint at learning Bharat Natyam for 12 years under Guru Thankamani Kutty she was introduced to the form of Odissi in 1992. Tonusree has received her Doctorate in dance from Rabindra Bharati University Kolkata on the topic-"The Influence of Other Art Forms & Other Contemporary Dances of Orissa on the Evolution of Odissi Dance." Tonusree is also a choreographer in the field of contemporary dance. She also has her own dance institute & troupe named "MOKSHYA". She has performed all over India & abroad. Tonusree has teaching experience of more than 12years. |

Rais is a post graduate in Indian music from Karnatak University Dharwad belongs to a family of distinguished musicians. He has been teaching music for the past 10 years in his last school Sanjeevani Vidyalaya - Panchgani. His Great grandfather, the late Sitar Ratna Rahimat Khan, was the disciple of legendary Beenkar Ustad Bande Ali Khan. His late grand father Prof. Abdul Kareem Khan was on the staff of AIR, Mumbai and retired as Professor of Sitar from Karnatak Music College, Dharwad. His late father Ustad Bale Khan and Uncles viz. Ustad Usman Khan, Prof. Hameed Khan, Ustad Chhote Rehemat Khan are eminent sitar players and have earned a place among the well known sitarists of India. He has received extensive training and guidance from his grand father, father and uncles. He is the seventh generation artist in the family, whose contribution in spreading sitar culture down the Vindhyas is enormous and unique. He is a regular performer on All India radio and Doordarshan. He is passionate about teaching music to children of all age. |

She would like to describe herself, as a human being born on this earth with a very passionate and endearing soul, who believes in giving more than taking, rest is Gods, will. She feels that it’s because of Divine grace that she can call herself an Artist and sharing her creativity, brings her bliss. With children she too becomes a child and it’s with them she discover her potential to the fullest. Sampada is a Fine Art graduate from Goa University, with specialization in Creative Painting, Graphics – Etching and Mural design, she has also studied Indian classical dance – Kathak (Lucknow – Jaipur gharana). She has completed ‘ Parangat’ in Kathak from Kala Academy, Goa and later she was under the tutelage of the renowned Kathak exponent and Guru, Dr. Pta. Rohini Bhate for 4 years. Sampada believes that life is incomplete without ‘Art’ be it the visual or the performing arts. Art brings joy to life and helps preserve human values.
Sampada has many projects and workshops in Art and Kathak to her credit. She is the recipient of the ‘Memorial award’ in the 20th Annual State Art exhibition (Goa). She has showcased her paintings in exhibitions organized by the Birla Academy of Arts and Culture, Mumbai and Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi. She has performed in Kathak recitals and ballets in Goa, Pune, Mumbai, Halebid, Somnathpur and Maheshwar. She also has to her credit the choreography of the short film ‘Radha Bhakti Sudha’. Sampada has been in the field of education since 1999 having taught both Art and Dance. She is interested in sharing with children the joys of the world of art. The objective is to bring about an all-round comprehensive development of the child and enable them to think creatively. |

Janki is graduate in Fine Arts with creative painting and mural as special subject. She has also studied Upadhya Visharad (Indian Classical dance- Bharatnatyam) and currently she is pursuing Visharad in Bharatnatyam dance. She has knowledge and experience in sculpture making also. She had her own institute in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) where she was teaching different types of Paintings, Sculptures, Craft, Western and Folk dance. She has experience of 6 years in Art, Craft and Dance. She has done choreography for western and folk dances. She has performed in dance, all over Gujarat and abroad. She has exhibited many of her paintings in various Art Galleries. She believes in Lily Tomlin Quote “I like a teacher who gives you something to take home to think about besides homework”, she would like to vary instructional methodologies to incorporate activities and materials to engage and interest students. |

Pragati have over 15 years of experience working in corporate sector and then she moved into the educational field since 1997. She has been involved in the CAS role for the past 9 years whereby she was working for a prestigious International College in Pune. She feels that CAS is an integral part of the IB Diploma programme, which encourages students to share their energy and special talents with others and at the same time give service to the community whether local, national or international. CAS is a counter-balance to the world of scholarships, an invitation to participate in activities destined to develop attitudes and values, which transcend barriers of religion, race, class, gender or politics. The students develop greater awareness of themselves, concern for others and are able to work co-operatively with other people. Her aim as CAS Co-ordinator would be to encourage the development of these students’ personal strengths and qualities, by engaging them in challenging activi ties both within and outside school. She would also, endeavor to build a strong bond with the local community by encouraging students to interact and be involved with them.
